    Dance in the Rain

    Bring on the rain!

While I prefer the warmer spring weather we had a couple weeks ago, I am reminded to be thankful for the rain. It helps to remember the grass and flowers need it in order to bring out their bright colors that we’ll soon get to enjoy every day!!

I could easily be grumpy all day (or all week!) when there is no sunshine for days. But God knew I needed this sweet reminder to be thankful and to recognize that his blessings are always present.

I heard the rain begin to POUR so loudly, followed by endless laughter in the front yard. Gabe and his friends were in the middle of a soccer game, and instead of running for cover, they embraced it! Life is always better with friends, right?

Apparently, it also hailed for a minute or so. Of course, it didn’t stop them.

Once the storm passed, the SUN appeared for the first time in what has seemed like forever!!

I love this quote, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain!”

So next time you’re stuck in the rain, have fun dancing, or playing soccer 🙂

And don’t forget to grab your camera!!
